No money, no fun? Day One

So, day one is now over and I have accomplished what I thought was not so easy. As I was a little uneasy just randomly walking up to people and asking them for money, I decided to ease into it by bringing a long a wingman - Karina Wright. Haha. So, I went for a walk to the opera house with a friend and then asked we managed to get a few dollars from some kindly tourists so we could bag ourselves some lunch. Then that evening I went to the Jazz In The Domain music festival and joined a group of people and was given dinner there... some yummy quiche and chicken and cheese on crackers and things. Anyway, so far, it's been reasonably successful. Tomorrow I shall continue my little quest. Also think I want to go and talk to a homeless person regarding some of their difficulties and lifestyle because I can't help but think it has been easier on me simply because of the way that we look and act etc. Anyways, will keep you guys out there in blog land posted!! :)
